Measurements across base of hat (above ribbing on some styles)
Tiny - 5" - 5½" (possibly preemie - newborn)
Small - 6" - 6½" (mostly 0 - 6 months)
Medium - 7" - 7½" (mostly 6 - 12 months)
Large - 7½" - 8" (mostly 12 - 18 months)
Can be machine washed and dried but, for best results, lay flat to air dry.
